One of my favorite spots to plein air paint is across the street from a local dairy. The green mound is a grain storage facility covered with tarps, the flag, and the hill behind which is a cherished landmark.
As I was photographing the scene, I visualized Torey Pudwill busting a move on a cybertruck, from a skateboarding ad campaign that I'd recently enjoyed. It's such a great form of athletic protest, or style, because I'm not sure of his intent. I prefer protest and this painting is all about that.
It is the first of this new series in which I'll create idiocratic scenarios that are based from idea generation spawned of current events and miscalculations by the administration in power. The future creations might not be this pretty to look at.
